Phoenix Financial Services LLC Debt Collection Complaint

Medical Disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt

Phoenix Financial Services LLC Debt collection department,

Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Illinois

Dear Sirs, I received a letter from a debt collector stating that I owed $1200.00 for an emergency room visit. I sent a letter requesting further information which included all the elements in the template provided by the CFPB. The response that I received did not provide me with all the answers that I requested and further was ambiguous regarding whether I owed any money and why. My only recollection of this potential debt is that it may be for an - visit at - - medical Center however I was fully insured at the time and further paid the $250.00 copay that was required of me at the time. I do not understand why more than 2 years later, I am requested to pay a debt that if valid was supposed to be paid by the medical insurance plan.
