I neither affirm, nor deny this purported debt, you claim I owe your company $4600.00. On - -, -, I contacted CNAC regarding the Credit Entry made on my credit report. I returned the vehicle to - - on - - due to several on-going issues and the engine blowing on - - as a voluntary repossession. When I finally was able to speak with someone regarding this debt and asked if I can do a settlement, I was told yes I can and they would transfer me to the Settlement department. When I spoke to the person in the settlement department at CNAC, I was told by them that they no longer owned the debt and it was sold and they could n't offer me a settlement due to they no longer owned the debt. I asked them why their making entries on my credit report as if they still have ownership of the debt and they told me that they can legally do that even though they do n't own the debt and ca n't offer me a settlement. I have reviewed my credit report from all - credit bureaus and found that the entries made by CNAC inconsistent and possibly fraudulent throughout the last years. I also noticed that CNAC never updated my credit reports when I first purchased the vehicle of payments that I made, they only updated it with negative information. I was told when I purchased the vehicle that they help people build credit and they report to all - credit bureaus monthly of payment, which is n't true. I also notice the first week of -, after speaking with them on -/-/- that CNAC removed the account from - and then add it back on, as well as update all - credit reports status as Volunteer Repossession, which was never listed until the week of -/-/-. I have also sent a letter to them addressing this issue, please see attached.
