In - -, American Express posted charges on my account of $1700.00 and - which on our about - -, - communicated would be reversed. These amounts were not reversed and I had a significant credit balance on my account which remains over $100000.00. The account is closed and I have been regularly following up on the reversal. Each time the representative has indicated they need to do further research and I needed to be patient. I have spent more than 20 hours in the last 60 days on hold while waiting for resolution and working with multiple supervisors to pull the recordings in order to reverse the charges. I received a good faith credit of $500.00 so the remaining credit outstanding is $2100.00. American Express has held my personal funds more than 8 months and the credit balance is greater than $100000.00. They will not resolve the reversal of the fees and continues to hold my credit balance. They indicated on multiple occasions they need to investigate but they never follow through. They indicate they will call me back but they do not. I have several supervisors names and extensions who are researching. They are extremely apologetic on the phone and express the empathy for my status but do not resolve. My credit score is greater than - and I pay my bills monthly in entirely. I do not have any interest charges on any credit for more than 20 years so this Amex Charge is completely unfounded. After spending 4 months contacting Amex regularly, I have no confidence this will go for many more months. There is no incentive for them to resolve my account. I have cancelled all cards with American Express because of this experience. How do I get to the right team member in AME- to complete the reversal of the inaccurate charges on my account?
