Our furnace went out and - company approved us over the telephone for a Wells Fargo credit card. They fixed furnace and the we paid more than the minimum each month and when the balance was down to about $1300.00 they charged us $1000.00 in interest. They claim it was a " deal '' they offered of - no interest if paid in full. Even though the balance was $1300.00 at end of 12 mos they charged over 28 % interest on the highest daily balance. We were never told this by Wells Fargo or the - -. We asked Wells Fargo to remove the interest charge and we 'd pay off the balance. They said no and so sorry. This is predatory lending at it minimum and outright fraud.
