Citibank Credit card department,
My - Rewards card issued by Citi Bank was recently acquired/transferred to - Bank. My final payment to Citi Bank was never credited to my account after transfer ( although I have proof that Citi Bank cashed my check ). The customer service line for my Citi Bank - account automatically forwards to - Bank, the new owners of my account ( who can do nothing about my situation - it is a Citi Bank issue ). Trying to speak with anyone at Citi Bank results in hours of wasted conversation and transfers - no one can pull up my account in their systems - it is like my account with them never existed! Citi Bank should have returned my check instead of cashing it OR forward it to - Bank for credit against my account.
