Citibank Credit card department,

Unsolicited issuance of credit card

Citibank obtained my name, date of birth and address and pre approved an $8000.00 ready credit card. I do not know where they got my personal details since this an am American Credit card company and I live in -. They then kept offering me unsolicited credit card increases to the amount of $25000.00 without checking my income or any verification. They then applied a credit rate - times the amount of what the original rate was. I tried to cancel several times and they refused. They eventually lowered to rate to keep me as a customer. I have complained in - but not much was done due to FOS being bias and on the bank side, they have reduced what is owing but they did target me because I was in my early - 's.
