Amex Credit card department,
My American Express card was charged by a merchant in -. This charge was unauthorized and when I contacted the merchant, the unauthorized charged was reversed. However, the original charge and the refund posted by American Express was on different days and therefore, I was responsible for the difference in the - denominated charges. This inaccurate charge is costing me $49.00 and American Express is unwilling to correct this error.
