After repeated attempts by myself and my attorney to negotiate a monthly payment plan, I was told they wanted the full amount and nothing less. In my situation, of being - and retired, I am on a fixed income and could not afford what they were asking. I am very familiar with their practices by being a formal law enforcement officer. I will not go into further detail on that subject. To conclude, I was always willing to pay this debt, but was told time and time again that a monthly payment plan was out of the question.
