Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I had setup an Amazon Store Card ( Synchrony Bank ) and I believed my cycle date was on the - of the month. I have been paying $100.00 ( way over the minimum ) on the - and did not receive any notification that I did not pay on time because my actual cycle date was the - of the month. Did not know that I was being charged every month for $35.00 late payment fee. I contacted them Customer Service - and explained this situation. I was only receiving a email monthly with a link to my account but I could not remember by credentials to access the account. They agreed to only credit - late payment fees and refused to credit the - remaining. That is $100.00 charges for a customer that uses their services and pays consistently, but because of a mistake regarding bill cycle date. Why did they not send a notification that I was charged a late payment fee to my email or call me so that they could make sure that there was not this situation?
