Bridgecrest Acceptance Corporation Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Florida
In - I purchased a vehicle from - - or - Services. The vehicle is a - - and was in fair condition at the time of purchase. I had recently been involved in a divorce and my options were limited at the time due to bruised credit. I believe this lender has been engaged in predatory lending practices as a result. The loan is based on a simple interest loan exceeding an APR of 24 %. I have had to modify this loan on several occasions thus putting me further and further behind. The current payoff balance as of today is $10000.00. The purchase price of this vehicle was $ - over 4 years ago. I have roughly paid over $ - in interest and down payment since the inception. I have on several occasions asked to be refinanced or to put me into another vehicle. The response was that the balance would have to be paid down to $4500.00 but at this rate that would take another - years. To boot the car currently is in need of over $ - in repair including engine work, and multiple other issues. This loan has since been serviced by Bridgecrest. Please look into this loan to determine if this is predatory lending based on FCRA and other Consumer Finance Laws. Thank you!
