Complaint against : Wells Fargo Dealer Services - - - - -, CA - -/-/- I had a bank issued Insurance on my truck right after I became sick and - dropped me. Wells Fargo Dealer Services then set up vehicle insurance with - - - -. - - - PA - ( see attached PDF ) that was back dated to when I lost my Insurance -/-/- for $110.00 a month. Never missed a payment, never had a problem. No notices nothing. On - - was able to get - - and at a better rate. I secured the required Insurance has stated in the agreement from the - - -. The remaining payment of $340.00 was issued on - - - and Wells Fargo Dealer Services posted it to the Principle of loan for the truck, this was not correct the amount should go to the payment as it has been for the past 8 months. My wife - and

would be the difference and we paid that amount. - - - my wife checked our credit report and Wells Fargo had my loan 30 days late for $340.00 this is the credit they received from the Insurance and had agreed to post it to the payment on the account which was never done. The reasons started flying. 1st Reason : There was a lapse! A lapse in what? We never received any notification of a lapse or missed payment the insurance was back dated to the time of the loss -/-/-, which has nothing to do with the posting of the monies in the correct manner. 2nd Reason : As told to me by - a lead supervisor " The $110.00 is a penalty payment for not having insurance and the car can not be driven '' The copy of the enclosed Insurance documents does not make that statement in fact it has something total contrary to his remark. And the 3rd reason is because we owe - different amounts ranging from - to -. None of these reasons is a reason to not post the monies in the correct manner as promised - times and that has been done the last 8 months. We were never late on any payment more than 30 days and the enclosure # - shows the payment history. This also shows the posting time for the $340.00 - - and the $140.00 paid on - - as agreed the total is $480.00 the total truck payment, minus . - for which no one can seem to find. Wells Fargo reported the same amount they received on - - - as 30 days late but that can not be since the payment is due on - - -, which means both amounts where posted well before the due date, and wells fargo deliberately held the process to intentionally ruin my credit history and to seek double payment. The payment has posted correctly for the past 8 months but since I have no need their high insurance they created a lie and punished me for finding better insurance. I wish to have my payment to post correctly and the 30 days late removed from my credit report. Thank you for your time on this matter.
