BB&T Financial Credit Card Complaint

BB&T Financial Credit card department,

Delinquent account North Carolina

I wrote a letter to - on -/-/2016 stating that I have no money to make payments on the credit card. I stated that I am now on a fixed income & the income that I receive from Social Security - are totally used up covering my minimal living essentials. I ask them to close the account & to please cease and desist from all future attempts to collect on my balance. Any correspondence related to my account should be conducted in writing to the address. Do not attempt to contact me by phone. And not to discuss or contact anyone regarding my account. I also wrote that I have become -. I have received calls from debt collectors. The call I received Saturday -/-/16 had me crying so hard because I could not pay my minimal. I told her $25.00 I could and it would take away my food. She started questioning me about if I had stocks, investments so I could pay. Told her no and she made me feel so ... .small, upset because now that I have become - my life has changed dramatically and it 's really tough. I told her that I mailed a letter to the billing inquiries in -, NC and she told me that I should 've sent it to -, NC so I sent another one. ( If it is recorded, I ask BB & T to listen to it. I felt harassed, bullied and her demeanor was very mean. ) I received another call -/-/16. The lady was nice and kept apologizing because I felt so bad. She mentioned that they also had to close my - and I said that was fine because I never used it. Now I am receiving letters from the bank saying that they 've denied me of the - and turned it over to - - - -. I will continue receiving the statements with late fees of $37.00 continuing to add up.
