PNC Bank N.A. Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account California
I had a PNC Visa Credit Card that was cancelled because of inactivity. I lived outside of the United States and upon returning I wanted to use my card and was informed that since I had a - balance on the card and had not used it since -/-/- that they decided to cancel it. I had acquired many rewards points on the card and wanted to use them but lost them because of this. I called -/-/- and was told that they decided to cancel it due to inactivity for a year and there was no need to inform me since there was a - balance. Had I not paid my bills on time, they would have left my account open.
