I would like to file a formal complaint. I have a Paypal Credit account that unlike many other credit account allows for " flex '' in the credit limit. This flex allows for charges to appear to go through and be approved to be charged to PayPal Credit but in turn charge through directly to a linked checking account. This form of lending does n't seem to be fair. If the transaction is approved by PayPal, the charge on the account should be honored rather than forwarding it to the checking account. Having these additional charges go through after they appear to have been approved has caused overdrafts on checking causing me to be in bad standing with my primary financial institution. This is deceptive lending.
