walmart credit card aka : synchrony bank, closed my bank account with them. i received letter - -, - this bank action has adversely affected my credit rating. it went from - to - when i called the bank after receiving the letter i was assured that the bank had made an error and that it would be reflected on my account. ( which he said, " i had not missed a payment but that the payment had not been received due to bank error '' ) now my credit has suffered - point drop for the admitted error of this financial institution. my credit shows right now that i was closed due to lack of payment.
i then received the letter cancelling my account. it seems even using all of walmarts products and live operator the payment did n't go through and i was not told at the time that the payment did n't go through, and i was not called later. i complied with all rules well before due date ; using well established protocols and still they failed at their job and i must suffer for their incompetence. the bank must correct this false statement. or it must pay compensation for publishing false statements. i have spoken to a bank manager and was assured that this would be cleared up. but i can see now that he just wanted to end the call ; so he lied and did nothing.
