Citibank Credit Card Complaint

Opened a Macy 's credit card to get the 20 % discount - I have an - credit score, so was not concerned with a hard check no my credit. As intended, I paid the outstanding balance in full immediately upon receiving the first bill. I checked my credit report, randomly, a few months later and noticed they had reported at 60 day overdue balance of $18.00. When I called, they informed me this was interest charge ... interesting how interest can accrue on $0.00. When I let them know this was fraud, they immediately back tracked and did everything necessary to remove the charges, report the correct info to the credit agency and close the card ( as they were previously instructed ). They also proceeded to say they had the wrong address on file - also very interesting bc the first bill had no problem finding its way to me when they wanted to get paid the initial balance. If you have a retail card from Macy 's - review your statement carefully ... likely interest and late fees on their that are fraudulent.
