This debt collection company just called me and threatened to sue me to collect an alleged 23 year-old debt I purportedly owed to the Goodyear Tire Company. When I asked for the date of the alleged credit extension, I was told " 1993 ''. Then, when I explained that I did n't think I owed the debt and asked why no one had contacted me and/or sued me before regarding this matter I was told that my statements were " an indication of my terrible moral character '' and that they would " come after me, my [ social security ] income, and my property ''. Before I could say anything else, the caller hung up her telephone.
