Initially in - - i was notified of - fraud applications submitted through SYN financial for Walmart and Lowes which resulted in - inquiries being placed on my credit report. I received help to initiate a fraud claim with the creditor and was informed the applications had been declined and this info would be forwarded to all - bureaus to have removed from my credit file. We allowed the 90 day time frame to do so and received no help or communication from Synchrony and in - of - we called to get an update on why they were still reporting on my credit file ; I was informed that no claim for fraud was ever submitted and the process would have to be resubmitted. Informed again by rep from Synchrony, once fraud claim initiated, the info would be fwd to the - bureaus to have removed ; I began to work with an investigator from - who helped me to also began disputing this info with - and they informed us they could not remove the inquiries due to the creditor having to issue a claim to have removed. They stated until we received either confirmation in a letter


was never initiated and would have to be sent over again. No logical explanation was given for why the claim has n't gone through, if I have called to report twice and why also no letter can be sent out to confirm that i have been a victim and the applications have been rejected due to fraud. It has been almost a year and nothing has been done from Synchrony Financial or - to assist me with getting my identity restored and I am left to figure this all out. The creditor is never helpful or can give any informative info about all the issues I have had and even after requesting to speak with a Supervisor ; I received the same unhelpful info that they will try to resubmit the claim again. I did my part by following up from the very beginning and continue to follow up with this creditor to give me the help i deserve and have received nothing but information that does n't make sense.
