My second mortgage was sold to LoanCare. After a leak in my home created considerable damage, I started receiving checks from - to pay repairers. Checks were sent to LoanCare to endorse. When the amount reached $20000.00, LoanCare put numerous obstacles in our path - a variety of paperwork from numerous people, checks that had to be returned because they were made out to the wrong person etc. The final straw was a check made out to me and - subcontractor ( I had to pay - different contractors ). I must now send this check back once again without confidence that I 'll ever get the money. They are obviously a shady company considering all the complaints I read on the - website. Ca n't anything be done?
