Closing/Cancelling account Missouri
We use our Wells Fargo Credit Card monthly and pay off monthly. In - I paid half of the full amount that would be due - - and intended to pay the rest before the - - due date so as not to incur interest charges. My husband did n't know I only paid half and continued using the card for his business purchases. On - his business purchase put us over the credit limit by $72.00 which they told me is a courtesy. I understand, that 's great so as not to cause embarrassment, etc. But the company allowed NINE more days and - more transactions to occur, putting the account at $1200.00 over the limit!!! We receive NO PHONE CALL, NO LETTER, NO NOTICE, NO EMAIL, NOTHING and they closed the acct on -/-/16. On -/-/16 I paid the other half of the remaining balance for the 30 day charging window, bringing our balance to zero for that payment period. The remaining balance will be due -/-/16 and is under the credit limit. Under the terms and agreements for this card, no where does it state that they will close the account if it goes over the limit.
card we have ever had, does not allow you to go over repeatedly once a transaction puts you over the limit. It declines further transactions. Wells Fargo Bank NA does not do business well, and they do not return phone calls. I have left - messages on - of the main managers voicemail who would handle this. No one calls me back. I will never EVER do business with Wells Fargo again. How ironic that we have never had any problems like this until after our Wells Fargo Home Mortgage loan was paid in full and all we had left with their company was this credit card. They are deceitful and do not communicate well with their account holders. - - - BANK IS THE BEST.
