Citibank Credit card department,
- - - - ( aka - - ) ( AKA - ) contacted us on -/-/- to supposedly update our account since it was quiet since 2015. We perform Broker Price Opinions ( BPO 's ) as a side service for real estate firms. - - asked for our " updated '' credit card info, and unfortunately, my wife did provide it on that incoming phone call. Turns out we did NOT do business with this company -/-/-. My wife found no activity with them in the past, though we HAVE done BPO 's successfully with other agencies. My wife also looked up the SCAM reputation of this firm and decided to cancel any further involvement. When she called back THE SAME DAY, no one answered the telephones at - -. No one answers our email. They did charge our credit card $440.00 that day.
1. - still will not answer our calls. We have tried phoning and emailing many times since -/-/-. We have attempted to cancel an account that never existed in our emails. How can we communicate? 2. CITICARD/ CITIBANK has twice provided a " CONDITIONAL CREDIT '' but each time has taken back the credit. The bank says we are responsible because of what the merchant told the bank. As of -/-/-, the bank is refusing to help us further. We have notified the - -, the Colorado State Atty. General, and also the Colorado Division of Real Estate.
