I have been in contact with this debt collection since day 1 trying to come up with settlement. They have my address and phone number to reach me any time. They garnished my wages a year ago, and I was told I was good with them and the apartment complex from now on. However, the debt collection company called me after I was sent a letter saying my account was settled asking for more money. Then, when I told them that was incorrect and I would not pay, they called my employer. I had made it clear to them that they could not contact my employer before, and I have always made sure they have my contact information. So not only are they asking me for debt that was settled, but they 're also still reporting to the credit agencies that my account is n't settled, and they have attempted calling my employer.
