Account Control Technologies ( ACT ) contacted me several months ago in reference to my student loan debt via telephone. I repeatedly asked during the phone call to be sent information detailing the acquisition of control over this debt, and was repeatedly told that they could n't send me any information, that it was up to me to contact the -. My tax refund was recently seized by ACT, and when I contacted the - I was told that they could n't give me information about the debt, and that ACT was the only - to speak with. I was told that this payment was made to them almost a week ago, and I have received no paperwork from any agency of any kind ( public or private, state or federal ) relating to the seizure of my entire federal income tax return. I need to know how I can rectify this situation that is rapidly spiraling out of control.
