Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I have a credit card through Wells Fargo for - Flooring. I made a promotional purchase for slightly over $3000.00 with a 12 month no interest promotion. In - 2016, I owed $130.00 for that promotional purpose. That promotional balance is due by - -, 2016. On - -, 2016, I made a separate $2000.00 promotional purchase under a 12 month no interest promotion.. I made a $130.00 payment on - -, 2016 which would have paid the initial promotional balance in full. Wells Fargo has applied over $120.00 of that payment to the later $2000.00 promotional purchase and is now demanding an additional $120.00 payment by - -, 2016 to avoid being charged interest for the entire initial promotional balance. Is there any legal recourse against this flawed allocation of payment to a later promotional balance which will force me to make an additional $120.00 payment above my $130.00 payment?
