As of today, - -, 2016 I pulled my credit with - and noticed that a new collection has been placed on my account. I also noticed that this was under a name and address not associated with me. I have recently, as of - - filed multiple complaints with the CFPB, FTC and all three ( -, - and - ) concerning identity theft. I also understand that the original creditor is - - -, to which I have never had an account. My wife and I have always split our utilities and she has always had - - - in her name. Even so, her name as is mine, is not similar to the name being reported on my credit report. This needs to be removed immediately because this is indicative of identity theft.
