Credit reporting company's investigation Inadequate help over the phone New York
- and equifax will not re-investigate incorrect information that is being reported on my credit report. I have been a victim of identity theft for a card that was opened up in my name. ( - ). I have phone experian and equifax to re-dispute this information and was told it was verified as mine and they will not re-dispute information again. This is ridicilious. I have written many letters to - ( with no response ) along with phoning them and getting the run around. I have also called the credit beaurous numerous times to tell them that this fraud is causing a hardship with my credit score. They will not re-dispute. How can they get away with this? I am being penalized for something I DID NOT DO
