Citibank Credit card department,
Unsolicited issuance of credit card Missouri
I had a - - - account which I quit using shortly after they announced - was switching to a different issuer effective -/-/-. I received a letter from Citibank around -/-/2016 welcoming me to their new - card which I had not requested. I called them and was informed I would receive the new card unless I cancelled my - account which I did that evening. On -/-/2016 I received a credit card from Citibank. It is my understanding that it is not legal to send unsolicited credit cards or to open lines of unrequested credit. Am I correct?
