Citibank Credit card department,
Last week I used my CITI card to pay for care for a cat at the - - - - ( - ). On Monday, I received another bill from the hospital in a different ( and slightly higher ) amount. What confused me was that the second bill indicated that I had n't paid anything on my account. So, I went to the CITI website and found that, indeed, I had paid them. What shocked me was that, in addition to the amount they had said I owed, there was a pending charge of $430.00. I can only assume that this fraudulent charge was placed on my credit card to insure that I paid the second bill. I wish to lodge a complaint, not against the credit card company who responded quickly to my complaint, but against the - - - - for using my credit card without my permission.
