Credit reporting company's investigation inadequate help over the phone

Equifax Credit reporting department,

Credit reporting company's investigation Inadequate help over the phone Illinois

I received a credit report from Equifax stating incorrect information on at least - accounts regarding the Date of First Delinquency for which can remain on my report for 7 years. After disputing the information via certified mail, received by Equifax over 30 days ago, Equifax failed to notify me in any way ( though they had updated me during the investigation via email ) that their investigation was actually complete. I manually checked the status to see it was complete. The " investigation '' did n't result in a change of any kind. They never really conducted an investigation. Here is the information listed within my dispute : 1. - - According to Equifax 's credit report ( confirmation # - ), - - reported this account as 30 days delinquent in - of -. - - also failed to report the months following ( -, -, and - ), and reported 30 days delinquent again in - though no payment had been made on this account, and it had been delinquent since - -. - - can not verify a payment had been received on this account ( verified by the account listed next by - - )

which it can remain on my report has expired. 2. - Acct : - This account was not an original account, but is a debt account purchased from - - ( identical account to the account listed above ) and should be removed from my account for the specific reasons listed above. Even so, based on Equifax 's own report, this account shows a 120-day delinquency in - -. Again meaning the original delinquency occurred - -. Federal law requires the creditor to report the original delinquency date of the account from which it can remain on my credit report for a 7-year period. Please remove this item from my credit report as it is inaccurate, and the reporting of the original delinquency was - -, with the 7-year period for which it can remain on my credit report expired as of - -. 3. - - - - - Acct : - - According to Equifax 's report ( confirmation # - ), this same account is listed 3 times on my credit report. This information is inaccurate, as I only had - loan account with the - under my social security number of $2600.00 + $2600.00 + FEES for a total of $6000.00. This account was paid in full. Even so, based on the information provided in this very report, the first reported date of delinquency shows 60 days delinquent in - -. Federal law requires the creditor ( including the - ) to report the original delinquency date of the account from which it can only remain on my credit report for a 7-year period. Please remove each of these items from my credit report as they are inaccurate, and the reporting of the original delinquency was - - for each account ; with the 7-year period for which it can remain on my credit report expired as of - -. In my dispute I submitted and circled Equifax 's own report, which clearly shows information within the report in support of my statements for each account with inaccurate information. A simple review of the documents would have easily cleared up the disputes. Equifax refuses to conduct a proper investigation, remove or update the inaccurate information.
