I have a Certificate of Deposit with PNC Bank. On - -, I sent a notarized letter requesting this account be closed. I have received no communication from the bank, but after calling their helpdesk, I received confirmation that the account had been closed. It was claimed that a check was sent to me, though I did not receive it. On - - they claimed that they would resend the check. I did not receive that check either. On - - I called and complained again, and they said they would resend the check overnight. It 's - - and the check still has not arrived.
