- -, by and through its current collection agency, ERS, will not respond to my requests for documentation to prove the amounts owed on loans which have - largely and likely - been paid. Every time I ask - - for information, they simply change collection agencies and the process begins all over again. I have requested very specific information and have requested communications in writing ( since prior discussions and promises are unrecorded and unenforceable - in addition, there is no recording of tone or threats of the collection agents ) and have received NOTHING. However, recently, ERS has continued to report negative information on my credit report resulting in a - point drop to my FICO score. Specifically, the information that has been requested in evidence of receipt of a payment made on my student loans in the amount of ( approx. ) $19000.00 which has not been credited towards any amount owed. I have also requested evidence of authorization and/or ownership of the loan so I


loan. In short, they are seeking double recovery. Each time a new collections agency is involved, I get a letter requesting written confirmation if a dispute is being made as to the amounts owed. Each time I dispute the debt in writing and request information, my requests are ignored. The prior agency, - -, simply walked away from their efforts. The new agency, ERS, is choosing not to communicate with me, but simply engage in negative reporting on my credit. This complaint is linked to - other complaints - all against the same efforts and same " owner '' ( I think ) - - - and its collection agency of the day.
