Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Florida
I moved in -/-/- to a new house, and I went online and changed my address in all my credit cards, including " - '' from - -. On - -, I used the card for $24.00. During -/-/- and -/-/- I tried to access my online account with no success, the website was under maintenance. Earlier this month they sent me a letter saying I was 60 days late in my payment. I called them right away and explained them what happened during the last 2 months. They admitted their mistake and waved the fee, I did a payment just for $24.00. At that point the website was still " under maintenance ''. After some hours on the phone they realized that I did n't have an " online account '' even when I do. They explained me that the new card with the chip is considered a new and different account, so I had to create a new online account for that, but they never sent me any information about it. Despite they assumed the responsibility, my score credit dropped more than - points and I called - - again, they suggested me to file a claim in order to fix this derogatory mark. Before this incident I had a - % in my payment history. This issue affect my wife because she was an authorized user.
