I have received multiple calls, some very late at night, from Trident. I finally called back and they answered " Hello? '' Hardly sounded like a legitimate collections agency. They claimed I had a debt in collections from a bounced check. This check was never written by me, and was supposedly written to - stores in - -, as I was living in -. I explained that this was not my check and it must have been made fraudulently. They claimed it was my responsibility. I called my bank and they have no corresponding check with the check number I got from Trident ( after pushing them ). I also called the bank that they said requested my debt- - -. - had no idea what debt I was referring to and stated I had no debt with them. Trident is collecting false debts that are not validated or actual debts. They did not give me a license number when I requested and instead hung up. They were extremely unprofessional and do not seem to be a real company. They did not verify the debt in my name in any way but knew my social security number It is very concerning. I do not owe anything and do not want this on my credit report, as I have not collected a debt anywhere.
