I received a letter dated - -, 2016 from Genesis Credit Management in which they asserted that I owe a debt of $1400.00 to - - -. I sent them a letter dated - -, 2016 disputing this debt and asking for the name and address of the creditor and proof of my responsibility to the debt, along with requesting that the debt be reported as under dispute to credit reporting agencies, and also requesting that any further communications should be in writing and limited to either their failure to verify the debt or the information I requested. I sent the letter certified mail, return receipt requested, and I received proof of their receipt of my letter dated - -, 2016. To this date, I have not received any written communication at all, the disputed item remains on my credit report, and the company continues to call my wife and me on a weekly basis.
