Banana Republic and their - Credit Card. I pay full statement balance of $3700.00. In their Banana Republic Online Account it says its no longer in process the payment and posted by -/-/16. I call the - to ask why the amount I paid is still Not available to use. They give me a Fax Number - -. I send the evidence from the Bank Account to the fax number. I called Again. The service rep confirmed they had it. Than they said I still had to wait 6 day because of such large amount being paid. So I ask for Supervisor. Supervisor said same thing had to wait 6 days. I told them that because I paid good I was being penalized. That this did not make sense. I was upset. What if I needed to use in hospital the card right now? So even if I was buying something that same day in Banana Republic


Online Account and still not available the funds to use. Not even part of it. I use the Customer Online Support and - - said all was all in good standing. The rep told me to call - -. Call support rep and told them 6 days passed. Explain I called friday. They told me had to wait now 48hrs. I ask what can I do to avoid this. She recomendad not paying completely but halve and than the other halve one week later. I complaint base on the fact that its misleading and they are not letting known to consumers that if they paid in full it will take longer to clear than if they do not pay off completely. Also the the Online Bank statement says its Cleared and should say that it is still in process. If the funds are not going to be available yet. And also that If I send the bank evidence by fax that they should honor the request to fix and update the system to reflect the available Funds. I have ALL the Calls Recorded as Evidence. Also screens shots of the online Bank Account. And evidence of Fax being received. Its not fair that this company Banana Republic manipulates this and is not clear to customers so that one can plan accordingly.
