Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I currently have a card open with JCPenney through Synchrony bank. On - -, I submitted what I thought was my full minimum payment of -. I asked the cashier to confirm the amount and she said that she could not. I am now being charged a - late fee because according to Synchrony I still owe - of my minimum balance ( because it was really - that I should have paid. ) Also according to Synchrony I did not make a payment. So now I have a late fee and a black mark ( my account is now delinquent ) on my record because Synchrony is citing privacy concerns that will not allow the cashiers at JC Penney to confirm the minimum balance due ; essentially they are setting it up so that the customer accumulates lates fees.
