I had applied for Wells Fargo Credit card on -/-/2016 which was approved and I received my credit card on -/-/2016, When I tried to get online access for my credit card Wells Fargo refused to provide me with online access. ( I had checking account and credit card with Wells Fargo before with online access. They had limited my online access for concern of fraud however after their extensive investigation they did not find any fraud on my side, however they said they would go ahead and close my account - because of their bad customer service and way they treated me I decided to go ahead and close both checking account and credit card, they said I could eventually open new credit card which I did apply for after a while ). Wells Fargo approved new credit card as mentioned above on -/-/- and send me new card, however they are vehemently refusing to provide online access for me to monitor my credit card spending and activity. I spoke to - ( supervisor of Fraud department Ref number - ) and he refused to provide online access after acknowledging that there was no fraud on my part in the past, when I requested them to provide online access like every other banking institute he said " no you can view your activity when you receive paper statements or call in every time '' neither of which is feasible/practically way - calling them I am on hold for - mintues every time and paper statements comes only once a month - I would have no way of knowing fraud charing if it happen in between - putting me a risk of identify theft and financial loss. When I told him about this and said I will file complain to CFPB, he said feel free to do whatever you want this is my decision and I am not gon na give you online access
