Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score New Jersey

Called Equifax over the weekend to unfreeze my credit report. The call was directed to -. When I requested a US based representative as I am entitled to, I was told that the US call center is " closed '' and if I want to lift my credit freeze that I must talk to the - based representative. I believe that this response is illegal because under US law I have a right to speak to US representative to maintain my rights under US law.
