Ford Motor Credit Company Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease Illinois
In -, my wife purchased - vehicles with Ford, as part of our process to move to the US. I did n't apply with her because at the moment of the purchase, we were not married and I did n't have a social security card. one of these cars was bought with a loan from Ford Credit. In - -, once married and once I had accumulated enough credit history, we contacted Ford Credit in order to add me to the car loan. We applied and we provided all the information that Ford Credit required. After some conversations with their customer service department, we were required to provide a notarized copy of my social security card, which we did. Two weeks later, we got a letter ( attached ) stating that my request had been denied, but without clarifying the real reason for their decision. I had to contact them again, and they stated that they could n't provide this data over the phone, and that they could send us a letter with these reasons. We received this letter ( also attached ) 3 weeks later, stating that the application had been denied because they were " Unable to Verify
option is to send a formal letter disputing this decision. I find it extremely ridiculous that Ford Credit continuously wastes our time, diverting us with letters and making us call the same number again and again to receive different information each time and never providing a real answer, but diverting us and making us wait till we receive another useless letter, which will lead to another time wasting call.
