Paypal.com in conjunction with a - online order opened a " Line of credit '' in my former name - - - billing me as Paypal Credit. The fees are high, as is the interest rate and as of -/-/- I owe over $100.00 on a purchase of $41.00 made -/-/-. The first customer service rep at Paypal told me that they do not have my SS # or birthday. Now a few days later, they say that they do. The advertising on the - website for the paypal card is deceptive. Your agency nailed paypal for doing this with credit cards in - - according to - Today. Now it appears they have found a way around the issues they were brought to court for and are issuing lines of credit instead. I have no paperwork from paypal stating the terms and conditions.
