The debt collection agency Regional Adjustment Bureau is trying to collect $18000.00 for an old private student loan, even though the 4-year California Statute of Limitations on the original loan has expired. They call my cell phone, and the phones of my family members, constantly. Sometimes, they do n't even say anything when I pick up. When I do speak to any of their representatives, they are always rude and threaten to sue me or take me to court over the debt. They have also put my debt in collections, which affects my credit report.
