I have been trying for the past 2 years to gain access to my Equifax credit report. i have been locked out on line and through Equifax customer service as well. Whenever I attempt to contact the agency I must FA- them over a copy of my Driver 's License, Social Security Card and a piece of mail to prove my identity. In the past 2 years I have faxed over these documents to Equifax at the minimum of 7 times the most recent being - -, 2016. Equifax responded to my dispute dated - -, 2016 indicating that they must have been in receipt of my identification. When I contacted the agency on - -, 2016 I was on the phone with Equifax for - hours and I was still being told that I can not gain access to my credit profile because I need to once again provide a copy of my driver 's license, SS card and proof of address. I was told that my information was not on file therefore I must resend it. After speaking with a supervisor I was advised that the issue had been cleared up and that I was fine as far


I was sent to the escalations department and spoke with - - and I was instructed yet again that I can not do anything with my credit profile until I sent in my required documents yet again. I questioned - - as to where I have been sending my personal sensitive information all of this time if every time I try to access my credit profile I have to resend the same documents? I also asked her what seems to be the problem with my credit profile that each and every time I call in or try to access it on line I must send in my identification? I was not provided with any answers tony questions and the representative hung up the phone on me twice because she did not want to answer my questions. I have no idea what is going on with my credit profile with Equifax and I do n't believe that it is safe for me to continue to FA- over my personal information to the agency and they are telling me continuously that they do n't have a record of my identification being sent in ( one minute - person can find it and then the next another ca n't seem to find it ). I would appreciate some help in trying to resolve this urgent issue.
