TMX Finance LLC Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Tennessee
A CSR from Titlemax in -, TN has broken the privacy policy. She took the title to my vehicle, the first page of my contract ( with my personal information on it ), and a letter from the state of TN denying their request to be made lien holder on my title to - - telling them to fill out a discharge of lien paper and give it to her because when - - released the lien on my title the store associate had not put the date next to her signature. The - - employee that the Titlemax CSR spoke to when she took the papers into the office saw all of the information on the contract page because the CSR laid the papers down on the counter in front of her and said that my name was even highlighted on the paper. I used to work - the Titlemax employee went to and the - - employee she spoke to was - and she now knows not only that I have a loan with Titlemax, but she saw all of the information on the first page of my contract twith them. I can not even begin to explain how embarrassing this is and how upset I am about my private information being shared which is a clear violation of the privacy policy that was explained when the loan with Titlemax was established. The - - employee explained that she could not give a discharge of lien to anyone other than myself or the state of TN if requested because of privacy laws in TN, and then contacted me to let me know what had happened.
