I have had a PayPal credit account for a number of years. I 've never had any issue with it until its recent departure from eBay. Since then, it has been impossible to maintain my account as my automatic payments from my checking account do not show up when I login to check my balance. All I can see are payments I 've made directly from PayPal. I recently changed bank accounts and made multiple attempts to change it on PayPal for a $99.00 payment due on - -. Every attempt was met with a error notice. I finally contacted PayPal and waited on the phone for 25 minutes before being able to speak to someone. It was then I was told the acct was 31 days past due. At no time when I logged in before -/-/- was there any indication the acct was past due, only a due date of -/-/-. Payments of $55.00 had been made every two weeks via auto payment for months. In fact, I had made a a payment from my checking of $100.00 payment in -/-/- and when I called PayPal in -/-/- they had no record of it. Paypal is making maintaining accts impossible as there is no complete record of payments received and payments due.
