An old civil judgment has been satisfied. I sent the " Removal of Recording '' to the bureau to have the posting removed. Equifax declined stating they need an " Expunction '' statement from a local judge to remove. In Louisiana, expunctions are completed for - Judgments. I explained there is no civil expunction process in place ; furthermore, I was told by the courts that the Removal of Recording statement from the attorney/client was sufficient to have it removed. The Equifax still refuses and is asking for something that can not be produced. Basically, there is nothing they will do to remove the old judgment from my credit report.
