Transaction issue Illinois

On -/-/2016 I deposited $7000.00 in my PNC transaction account. On -/-/2016 with the funds showing available I scheduled a $6800.00 to my PNC credit card for -/-/2016. My transaction account shows $6800.00 withdrawn and credited to my PNC credit card on -/-/2016. However my credit card account shows $0.00 available balance. When I called regarding my account status I was told that PNC had to verify funds. Why does PNC have to verify cleared from funds from my PNC transaction account used to make a payment on a PNC credit card account and thereby deny me access to my funds?
