Regions has processed a transaction instead of rejecting it as I had refused the overdraft protection on my business checking account. I was then charged an exorbitant $36.00 overdraft fee. Upon talking to the - -, LA branch manager on - -, 2016, I was told that after a certain period of time, accounts are automatically enrolled in the overdraft protection, even if the account holder initially refused the service. Regions and the branch manager refused to remove the $36.00 overdraft fee.,
