FHA mortgage Loan modification,collection,foreclosure Connecticut
I purchased a house -/-/-, and -/-/- -. I have been in and out of work since, and have continued to make mortgage payments to the best of my ability. -/-/-, Vanderbilt Mortgage purchased my mortgage, and -/-/- I reached out to them to explain the situation and begin the application process for their hardship program. To date, I have not been able to complete the process because - has repeatedly lost or claimed never to have received documents from me and has continued to request additional documents whenever they receive what I have been told is the last set of paperwork they need. Approximately a month ago they finally had all of the necessary paperwork, at which point I was told that the process had to be restarted because it had taken so long. They have called me, as well as my fiance who 's name is not on the mortgage, approximately daily for months to demand repayment using offensive and condescending language and it has become readily apparent that they are operating in bad faith regarding their hardship options. They have refused to accept partial payments and are claiming that because I have been unable to continue to make mortgage payments while they dragged out the hardship application process, I am now in danger of foreclosure unless I pay the entire outstanding overdue amount within the month.
