Credit reporting company's investigation no notice of investigation status/result
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation No notice of investigation status/result Texas
Two requests have been sent requesting a security freeze be placed on my credit file as I am a victim of identity theft and want to prevent any further fraudulent use of my credit information. Both requests were sent USPS Certified, which were signed received on -/-/- & -/-/-. Included in my request a copy of my police report, identity theft affidavit along with sufficient proof of identity. According to Texas 's Business and Commerce Code Sec. 20.034. Upon receipt of my request, the security freeze should have been placed within 5 business days and written confirmation sent within 10 business days. I have not received any confirmation that a security freeze has been placed on my consumer credit file.
