I found out Pay Pal Credit ; or -/PPC as it shows up on my hard hit credit inquiry, has done an unauthorized hard hit credit check on my credit report. When I contacted them they stated it was done for an online credit account on - -, 2015. I never authorized this nor have I applied for any such credit. After searching out information on the internet I discovered - reports by others for this exact same problem. Also my spouse and I discovered he had the same inquiry done on his credit report - -, 2015. He never applied for nor authorized such a line of credit either. Both of these hard hits showing through -.
